Metro Lofts is a multi-family housing complex along the Arizona Canal south of the once thriving Metro Center mall. Consisting of 206 units, with a large swimming pool, and recreational facilities, this project is one of the first developments designed and built to re-ignite life into the Metro area North Phoenix Neighborhood. The design of the housing complex draws inspiration from the cliffs along a coast, that seeks to create visual connectivity to the Arizona canal. The building is organized around a central courtyard that is the central hub for community activities. The design also integrates passive design concepts to achieve a low energy footprint.
